These days, most of the creators are showcasing their skills through Instagram. Instagram is gaining popularity worldwide. Be it any field, Instagram is the best platform for all kind of of creators. But, for passionate photographers, due to this pandemic, these days it's getting difficult to maintain their feed. As most of us love clicking pictures outdoors, but these days, due to lockdown it's actually impossible.

So in this post, I will be sharing some of the most useful tricks to click pictures indoors and how you can transform simple pictures to something which would look absolutely outstanding. Here, I have used combination of some applications to edit my picture. You can check more about these apps here.

1) Add Realistic Text/Logo to picture :

  • These kind of wonderful snaps can be obtained using simple editing using a combination of Lightroom, PicsArt and Lend Distortions.
  • Lightroom helps to enhance the subject and gives it a more better look.
  • Using PicsArt, we can add any kind of logo, or even text, and eliminate the unwante part from it to make it look real.
  • Lens Distortions gives amazing external light effect to the pictures.

For the above picture, I have made use of Instagram logo, which was available in PicsArt stickers. I then added a pattern to the logo, to give it a more enhanced look.

For better understanding, here is the video of complete editing tutorial.

2) Fake a Reflection:

  • There are a numerous ways in which reflection shots can be captured.
  • Some of these involve capturing reflection in water or on a glass or metallic surface.
  • But what if you want to convert your already taken picture in a reflection shot? Here is the solution.
  • We can easily fake a reflection using PicsArt Mobile Application and make our common photograph look like a reflection shot.
  • This can be done by creating a Freestyle collage in PicsArt, and selecting same image twice, and then adjust them both to have a visualization of reflection.
  • This is a very simple technique to create creative pictures, sitting at home.
Here is the brief idea of how I edited this reflection visualisation image.

3) Creative Editing  :
  • Using several techniques, we can transform a simple picture into a magical one and here is the example for the same.
  • The original picture only contains the sky and an aeroplane. I made use of PicsArt for the Moon, Lens Distortions for the stars and Snapseed.
  • I used Snapseed to give the Black & White effect as well as the Blur effect.
This is how I edited this Picture.

4) Water & Soda :
  • We can make use of Water + Baking Soda solution to form bubbles inside a glass container.
  • Place a single source of light below this glass container, and make sure, there is no other lighting present in the room.
  • Once you are ready with the setup, you can insert any object into the container, and take pictures. This Technique gives amazing results and the picture barely needs any editing.
  • Here, I have inserted a water color pencil inside the container, of which, the color is slowly dissolving in water, and giving an amazing look to the picture.
  • You can also make use of a lemon, which will float on the water surface and will give great pictures.
5) Transform Any Picture like this :
  • For this picture, I have clicked a simple image on a textured surface, using depth effect.
  • Using Double Exposure in Snapseed, added the sky as backdrop, and made it blur to match the composition of the picture.
  • After that, I added a Silhouette image, using PicsArt Sticker.
  • Here, I have made the picture Black and White. Same picture in colorful theme would also look amazing.
Below is the Editing Tutorial of how I transformed this picture.
